eNewsletter Marketing
In today's market email marketing is one of the best forms of online communication and with costs more affordable than you think, this is a great form of advertising.
An eNewsletters is an html based email that can be professionally designed and built for one off mailing campaigns or templates can be designed and built for clients wishing to send out regularly campaigns. All emails can be styles to the client's branding for a more unique impact.
Client sending multiple campaigns regularly can have multiple templates created, giving you the option of choosing between multiple templates.
For reference an eNewsletter is also know as e-shot, ezine, e-magazine, eMarketing.
How It Works...
An eNewsletters, e-shot, ezine, e-magazine is an html based email, basically the same as a web page and can contain all static media including images and text.
As the email is html based the size of the email size is very small and there are no attachments to the email as all the content is linked to an external server. This works by the html calling the images to the email when opened so not attaching it to the email.
For email accounts not setup to accept html based emails, the systems also includes a text based email system in which the users can create a text email that is including in the distribution of the campaign.
Distribution...
After an email is created, this can then be distributed to a distribution list created by the client which includes all the email addresses gathered by the client.
Distribution lists can be created by importing names and email addresses into your account and you can have as many lists as you wish.
Subscribers...
Creating email lists from your own site is very easy by simple adding a subscriber form to your site which automatically adds names to your distribution list when a user has entered their name and email.
Once a user has subscribed to a list they will automatically receive an email confirming plus can be transferred to a web page thanking them for joining.
On every campaign sent out an unsubscribe link is added to the email so uses can unsubscribe if they wish. As spam email is a crime clients can only send out emails to address they have permission to send.
Please note I do not provide email lists as these have to be gathered by the client.
Reports & Tracking...
On sending of a campaign clients can then monitor a very detailed tracking report for that campaign, which includes:
- Number of unique opens
- Bounced emails
- Not opened emails
- Date chart of email openings
- Date chart of clicked link
- Pie chart of openings
This can then be view into further by seeing out of the unique openings, who opened the email (name and email address) and if there were links connected to that campaign, what links were opened and how may times.
