About Me.
Hello there, I'm Thomas James a Glasgow based freelance web designer specialising in the creative design and build of front-end brochure style websites for clients across Glasgow, Scotland and the UK.
Graduating into the new media industry with a career that spans over 6 years in the creative sector I am an enthusiastic, professional who thrives on being challenged, I am energetic and self-motivated in my approach to design and coding and always looking to broaden my knowledge and enhance my creative skills.
I spend most of my spare time improving my Jedi skills working through tutorial websites and css galleries gathering new ideas and improving my design and coding abilities in Photoshop, xhtml, css, html5, css3, JavaScript, jQuery, Flash and many more.
Employment.
Working with some of Glasgow's top new media and design agencies including Flame Multimedia and Shandwick Design I have created visually exciting, accessibility friendly websites.
I am currently employed full-time with top Glasgow advertising & design agency, Atalanta since August 2007 as head of their new media department and love the challenge of working with their great design team and the large spectrum of clients and their needs.
Education.
Leaving school I enrolled in college studying Art and Design followed by a Higher Nation Diploma (HND) in Multimedia and Web Production, moving on to Glasgow's Caledonian University to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Multimedia Technology.
